The Ad Standards Clearance Services team has a depth of experience and expertise across all five categories of advertising preclearance. Review services are available in both French and English and are carried out by analysts who are experts in their respective fields and have extensive knowledge of advertising and communications. Jean Larivière
Director & Client Services Manager, Clearance Services

Jean currently reviews advertising for food and non-alcoholic beverages, alcoholic beverages and children’s advertising. He is fully bilingual and has been with Ad Standards since 1999. Through the Institute of Communication Agencies, he holds a Communications and Advertising Accredited Professional (CAAP) designation. Jean attended the University of Ottawa where he studied History and Communications.

Ruta Rozentals
Director, Clearance Services

Ruta is a licensed pharmacist with more than 18 years of pharmacy experience. She is a graduate of the Pharmacy (BSc. Pharm) program at the University of Toronto and is a member of the Ontario Pharmacists' Association and the Canadian Pharmacists Association.

Esmaa Benseddik
Senior Analyst, Clearance Services

Esmaa holds a post-graduate certificate in Pharmaceutical Regulatory Affairs from Humber College and a B.Sc. in Biology from York University. Before joining Ad Standards, she worked in regulatory affairs for 6 years, most recently in the Medical Devices and Diagnostics Division of Johnson & Johnson Inc. Esmaa is fully bilingual.

Sandra Gharbi
Senior Analyst, Clearance Services

Sandra, a Registered Dietician, holds a Master of Science degree in Nutrition Communications from Ryerson University. Before joining ASC, she conducted quality assurance audits of food preparation facilities and interned at Nestlé Canada Inc. Sandra is fully bilingual and reviews non-prescription drug, natural health product and food advertising.

Marion Perchoc
Analyst, Clearance Services

Marion received her Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Paris Sud XI and worked as a Community Pharmacist in France. Before joining Ad Standards, she also worked as a Bilingual Drug Safety Coordinator at Janssen Canada.

Noémie Lachance
Analyst, Clearance Services

Before joining Ad Standards, Noémie worked as a bilingual Telecaster analyst at ThinkTV and as a Complaints analyst  (specializing in food standards) at Advertising Standards Authority in the UK. She holds a BFA in film production and currently reviews advertising for food and non-alcoholic beverages, alcoholic beverages and children’s advertising. She is based in Montréal.
