Children's Non-broadcast Advertising Clearance Review Services (Print and Internet)

At the request of industry, Ad Standards Clearance Services reviews children’s advertising in non-broadcast media. While not required, this voluntary review mechanism helps advertisers ensure that child-directed advertising in non-broadcast media complies with the provisions of Interpretation Guideline #2 (Advertising to Children) under Clause 12 of The Canadian Code of Advertising Standards.

This review of children’s advertising in non-broadcast media is provided by Ad Standards analysts and includes, but is not limited to, children’s advertising appearing in magazines and on the Internet.
