Ad Standards Standards Councils play a vital role in ensuring an objective, balanced and fair process for adjudicating consumer complaints about advertising.

Composed of representatives from the advertising industry and the public, who volunteer their time to support the consumer complaint process, the Standards Councils review complaints that raise potential issues under the Canadian Code of Advertising Standards.
